With Freya I aimed to have her hold a paladin role within a party. She weilds a shield and double-blade combo weapon. The electric magical blades can be ejected and retracted as needed with a switch on the interior handle. Her armor is ready to withstand attacks, made of scale-like forms inspired by dinosaur characteristics. Talon-like structures on the toas and heels of her boots assist in balance while handling her weapon. Her helmet strategically covers the scarred sie of her face out of fear of additional harm in that area. Her shapes are organic with a colo color palette that the blades of her weapon contrast.

Xander is the ranger member of this duo. While he also possesses armor of scales, he holds a much more laid-back attitude that influences less safety awareness than Freya. Still, his tall boots and shoulder armor protect his exposed areas. His sniper-like weapon sits on the shoulder and must be balanced properly to operate. Like Freya’s this weapon utilizes a magical substance. Xander displays more geometric forms in his design with a warm palette, contrasted by the brief blue in his weapon.

This monster is an example of the creatures the duo may deal with. It possesses a slipper body with threatening talons and teeth for both mobility and attack purposes. To attack, it raises its front and harpoons its target with a spear-like tooth, pulling a successful victim towards it to feast while holding in place. Purple structures around its front are actually its eyes, giving it full range of vision thanks to the ones on its flexible front.

The Ensemble is a character design piece ispired by roles found in a fantasy team. 2 heroes, a paladin and ranger, fulfill their respective roles to battle creatures like the one found here. They each possess weapons and armor that assist them in this and reflect aspects of their world.
