“Kuka Movement” short. Blender EEVEE. July 2026.

Rigged and textured model of a Kuka robotic arm interacting with a cube and sphere. Displays the movement the rig allows, equipped with rotation restraints accurate to the real arm. The armature is appended from the original file where the materials of the model have been baked and the bones have been weight painted. This makes the model ready to use in game engines such as Unreal Engine. Being a CAD model, it was put through the process of mesh simplification using modifiers to allow faster handling in blender without sacrificing significant visual details. Movement of the shapes in the scene had their graphs aadjusted to mimic realistic physics.

As seen on my home page, this animated gif shows off my love for my own style and making my paces my own. I incorporated a sort of “wiggle” style to my animation to give moving elements more visual interest and slight differences between frames. This made the work feel alive and gave it some character!

CubeSat Use Cases (Push & De-Tumble) (above and below). Blender, CapCut. July 2026.

These two animations (above and below) were created as part of the UC IRAS Lab’s submission to the NASA FFR Payload Challenge in the Summer of 2026. They display a CubeSat(s) orbiting around a client satellite, flashing sensors and using arms to approach and assist as needed. Models and textures of the satellites were pulled from NASA’s pulicly available 3D resources. They were modified by adding a modeled and rigged arm, thrusters that fire, a flashing light sensor, and extending the width of solar panels. These clips were accompanied by a full 90 second pitch and footage of actual hardware, displaying how the submission relates to ISAM research.
